Greetings from the company at Playback Workshop Theatre! We just returned from the Federation of Families for Children’s Mental Heath Conference held in Washington, D.C., where we performed for and trained young people in the techniques of Playback Theatre. (Be sure to check out photos and a short movie from the event in our gallery!) In the coming months we will serve people at the St. Louis Association for Retarded Citizens, Lydia’s House, as well as young people of all ages throughout the private and public schools of St. Louis.

This July, we will premiere an original work devised by the PWT ensemble using Playback Theatre as a form for scripted theatre - Beautiful Resistance: Confessions of a Hoosier in Palestine. Check out our calendar for more information as well as for other upcoming workshops and public performances!
